Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

A proud look,

Take inventory today and make sure we are not disappointing out Savior.
I have used these verses with my kids....as well as myself. It is plain and there is absolutely no denying what the Lord hates.
ReplyDeletev27-28 "Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?" So important not to dabble in things of this world and think we will not be ruined.
v 1-3 I have applied to my life and was the most difficult thing to do BUT the blessing, relief, and peace I felt for being obedient was immeasurable. If you have ensnared yourself with your words, humble yourself.
