Proverbs 10:4

New King James Version (NKJV)
He who has a slack hand becomes poor,
But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Put in a good days work today. The Lord will Bless you.

  1. This entire chapter spoke a lot about the words that we speak. God warns us over and over to watch what we say and to guard our mouths. One verse that particularly speaks to me and has proven true in my life is the one that says where many words are there too is sin.
Have you ever been in a situation when you just cant stop your mouth and it just keeps digging you deeper in a hole? It happens often and many times innocently. Nevertheless, we get in trouble with our words.
Our words should be encouraging and uplifting. This is not always our first response but we should attempt to try this.
A verse that has helped me in my current struggles is verse 30 (NIV): "The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land."
